      as always, allies never lets you down

      I pre-ordered this about 10 days before its launch and was surprised when it arrived a few days later! I've been using it every day for the past week (so may be a bit pre-mature for a full review) but after 2x daily use, I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin barrier! The texture is a nice thick balm texture but it blends in seamlessly and doesn't pill (even if you apply SPF on top during the day). I have very sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin and this has helped significantly with dryness and sensitivity and not done anything to irritate or worsen any active acne ... highly recommend giving it at least a try, especially in the winter months

      BEST Texture & Extreme Repair

      Think of your FAVORITE ultra rich moisturizer... now think 5x richer! It is also comparable to a thick sunscreen. I am absolutely in love with the texture of this product... While it is called a "balm," it is nothing like a vaseline/cleansing balm type texture... it truly is a cream that feels thick, but once applied to the skin spreads so easily and feels wondefful. It's instantly soothing & repairs overtime. It has a great finish, works great AM and PM (I thought iu'd only like it in the evening, but I can't stop using it morning and night), and the ingredient list is killer.
