What is Sunless Tan SPF 50 Daily Self-Tanner?

A 3-in-1 product combining SPF 50 sun protection, hydration, and a gradual self-tanner for a natural, streak-free glow—no sun required.  

How does it work?  

It uses DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), a sugar that reacts with the skin to create a buildable tan, while antioxidants like Vitamin C, Centella Asiatica and Goji Berry protect and condition. 

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Yes, it’s clinically proven for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin. The formula is non-comedogenic and won’t clog pores.  

How do I use this product?  

Apply as the final sunscreen step in your morning routine. Use ½ teaspoon (3 finger lengths) to cover face and neck.

Can I use it daily?

Yes, it’s designed for daily use. Build your desired tan with consistent application.  

Will it make my skin orange or streaky?

The concentration of the tanning ingredient Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) present in our formula is lower than what is present in most self-tanners, which allows for the reapplication of sunscreen throughout the day. The formula is designed to provide a natural tanning effect on the skin, without turning the skin too dark or orange.   
 

For an optimal, streak-free tan, we recommend using a chemical exfoliant (like an AHA peel or serum) the night before application of this SPF. 

How long does the tan last?  

Depending on your skin type, skin tone, and skincare routine, the tan lasts 1-4 days after discontinuing use. exfoliating products will help fade the tan quicker. 

Does it smell like a fake tan?

To counteract the notorious “fake tan” smell, we added Ethyl Vanillin, an antioxidant and allergen-free fragrance that gives the formula a subtle, natural vanilla scent. 

Is it water- or sweat-resistant?

Yes, it’s water- and sweat-resistant for 80 minutes, plus friction-free, making it ideal for outdoor activities.

Can I achieve a darker tan?

Yes, reapply daily or multiple times to deepen the color.  

Does it work on all skin tones?

Yes, it enhances radiance for all skin tones. Lighter skin tones see a more pronounced tan; deeper tones get a healthy, luminous glow.  

Will it cause breakouts?

All our formulas are developed with acne-prone skin types in mind. Sunless Tan SPF 50 uses non-comedogenic ingredients to ensure it doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts

What if I have dry or scaly skin?  

Because of the soft, hydrating lotion texture, the product glides effortlessly on the skin which allows an even application, no need to use a tan mitt! Dry or scaly skin will develop a faster, irregular tan, so we added several hydrating ingredients, such as Bisabolol, Chamomile, Aloe, and multiple fruit extracts and non-clogging oils to nourish the skin and to support the development of an even, natural-looking tan. 

Can it be used as a makeup primer?

Yes, its lightweight formula hydrates and primes skin while offering SPF and tanning benefits.  

Is it vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes, the product is vegan, cruelty-free, and free of parabens and sulfates.

Combining sunscreen, self-tanning and proven skincare actives in a seamless step, Sunless Tan means no choice between healthy glow and healthy skin. Never streaky, never orange, the gradual tanning effect appears within hours, so you can build on your desired color, while maintaining broad-spectrum PA++++ protection.  

 

DHA is responsible for the natural, sun-kissed effect. A naturally occurring sugar, it mimics a temporary post-vacation tan, without subjecting skin to UVA/UVB. And, without the infamous “fake tan” scent found in traditional formulas.  

 

Antioxidant protection’s first defense is VITAMIN C. Shown to combat environmental aggressors, like free radicals from pollution and damaging effects of UV rays.   

 

GOJI BERRY EXTRACT, with anti-inflammatory properties, is rich in essential nutrients and supports collagen production, that can be weakened by sun exposure. It can visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles, while helping protect from skin laxity and loss of firmness.  

 

Boosted by Centella Asiatica, Green Tea Leaf, Chamomile Flower Extract, and Liquorice Root, this is the tan that loves your skin back. The first three: known antioxidants with soothing properties to improve overall skin health and comfort. The latter of the plant extracts, Liquorice Root, helps brighten skin and reduce visible dark spots and pigmentation, often worsened by the sun. With further soothing properties, it helps mitigate itchiness, redness, or irritation tied to excess sun exposure.   

 

Our unique lightweight, creamy lotion melts seamlessly into all skin tones, layering beautifully and priming for makeup, if you even need it. 80 minutes water resistant and sweat proof, skin is left luminous with zero heaviness, allowing for easy re-application, or switching to The One Invisible Gel Sunscreen when desired color depth has been reached.

Cleanse your skin to remove impurities and makeup. This prepares your skin for the following skincare steps.

Apply a balancing toner to help refine pores and restore your skin’s natural pH levels. Follow with a mist to lock in moisture.

Dispense 1-3 pumps of your serum or booster into your hands. Gently massage onto your face and neck, focusing on fine lines and wrinkles. Hydrates and rejuvenates.

MOISTURISERS

Apply eye and lip treatments to nourish these delicate areas. Follow with your moisturiser to lock in hydration. Finish with a face oil to provide an extra layer of moisture.

Complete your routine by applying SPF to shield your skin from harmful UV rays.

Application

As the last step of your AM routine and/or 15 minutes before sun exposure. Tanning effect should be noticeable from 3-6hours but can take up to 24 hours for full effect.

Amount per use

At least ½ teaspoon (about three fingers’ length) to the face and neck.
Reapplication

Reapply (or alternate with The One SPF 50) at least every 2 hours, after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, and immediately after towel-drying to maintain UV protection.   

 

Maximum color from a single application will be reached within 24 hours, usually appearing between 3-6 hours from first application. If a deeper tanning effect is desired, reapply. Wash your hands after each application. If the desired tanning depth has been achieved, switch to a regular sunscreen like The One SPF 50, without further self-tanning action.
